Manchester United U21s have been crowned Premier League 2016 champions

Manchester United Under 21s have been crowned Premier League champions for a second consecutive season following their 3-2 victory over Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Warren Joyce's side made it three titles in the four-year history of the competition with goals from Andreas Pereira, Donald Love and Guillermo Varela.

The result moved them top of the table - above Sunderland who have played all their fixtures - with two games remaining, against  Southampton and Chelsea
